Ford On Its Progressive Way To Produce Electric Vehicle Parts At The Halewood Plant

Ford plans to invest hundreds of millions of pounds into its Halewood factory on Merseyside to help secure 500 jobs.

The plant will be the first Ford European facility to manufacture elements for electric cars.

The investment will ensure that the plant can run for a more extended period. According to Stuart Rowley, the plant will continue to operate for many years, president Ford of Europe.

There was speculation over what the future holds for the Halewood factory complex as Ford shifts towards electrifying their vehicles.
