Good news for the United Arab Emirates people

Good news for the United Arab Emirates people|Local and foreign immigrants in the United Arab Emirates should be happy The prices of soft drinks and energy drinks have increased dramatically this year in the United Arab Emirates. This has resulted in an additional burden on consumer pockets. In addition, the prices of many food items also increased. In this regard, 2019 has not been a very good year for people living in the UAE. However, 2020 will be a happy year for UAE consumers. Because prices for many food items will not rise during this year, Ardo News reports that prices of 11 daily-use items will not increase during 2020. These items include soft drinks, mineral water, drinks, bread, lentils, meat, fishes, seafood, garlic, cheese, vegetable oils, squash, sweets, tea, coffee, cocoa, fruits, vegetables, and sugar.

These foods are used by food consumers on a daily basis. Households whose prices will remain stable will have a slight increase in their budget. The Consumer Rights Committee has announced that a list of consumers who consume the goods on a daily basis has been prepared so that they do not face constraints in their budget. Coordinating societies and trade centers selling goods are being harmonized in this regard. Sultan bin Saeed al-Mansouri, Minister of Economy and Head of the Consumer Protection Committee, says that “controlling the markets and preventing the price hike of goods alone is the top issue of our committee’s agenda” while not raising prices for these eleven items. There will also be talks with major trading centers. The government is also setting up a special program aimed at maintaining the quality of trade frauds and commodities.
