According to details, PIA CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik issued orders in which he said that an airport hotel zone has been handed over to NDMA to deal with the Coronavirus.

He stated that for quarantine purposes a portion of 34 rooms has been handed over to the NDMA as the NDMA requested the airport hotel while the 34-room zone hotel handed over to the NDMA. He said that Karachi airport hotels are being converted to quarantine, with the main objective being that if a patient arrives, he will be immediately transferred to the airport hotel. He said the quarantine center at the airport hotel is under the NDMA.
