World Test Championship Points|Pakistan third in the World Test Championship. Pakistan has opened an account at the World Test Championship thanks to a victory in the Test series against Sri Lanka and the national team is third in the championship with Sri Lanka. The World Test Championship consists of 120 points for each series, which is evenly distributed in terms of a number of matches.
Australia and England had 24 points per match due to five Tests in the Ashes series but Pakistan and Sri Lanka had 60 points per match due to only two Test matches in the series. The first Test match played between Rawalpindi and Rawalpindi was scared due to rain, which gave both teams 20, 20 points. In the second Test match played in Karachi, Pakistan presented a brilliant game and easily defeated the guest team to make the series their name and also won the first victory at the World Test Championship. With the victory in this series, Pakistan has scored 80 points in the World Test Championship and is ranked third on the points table with the Sri Lankan team with equal points. India has won three series and won first place in the World Test Championship with 360 points while Australia is second with 216 points. The West Indies, South Africa, and Bangladesh have not had a chance to open an account in the Championship so far.
