Citizens Avoid Travel to China, US

In a warning issued by the US Department of State, US citizens in China have been urged to consider leaving.
The State Department said in its warning that it had “requested all non-essential US government officials to postpone the visit to China.”
Last week, the department ordered all of its non-emergency personnel and their families to leave Wuhan.
Coronavirus cases outside China
According to the WHO, 98 cases of the virus have been reported in 18 other countries outside China, but no deaths have been reported so far.
Most of these cases are from people who have traveled to Wuhan, China, from where the virus began to spread.
But in addition to this, there have been cases of human-to-human transmission in Germany, Japan, Vietnam, and the United States.
Dr. Tedros Adenhom said during a press conference in Geneva that the virus was spreading in an unprecedented way and was being contested again.
He attributed the Chinese authorities’ efforts to prevent it.
