What can be done by drinking less water?

Where we can fight our lives for weeks without food, we can survive for only three or more five days without water. Water is more important for maintaining moisture in our body than by quenching our thirst. As an average human body is made up of about 55 to 60% water, like our heart and ‘brain’ is made up of about 75% water, and our lungs contain 83% water while our dry bones also contain 31% water.

Although it is not easy for many of us to follow the guidelines of drinking eight glasses of water daily, it is not so difficult to compare the benefits of drinking water. Water is of vital importance to human life. Water delivers the components and hormones to the body. Water energizes our brain and spinal cord, regulates temperature, excludes body fluids and cushions the bones and joints and provides moisture to our eyes. On the other hand, about one and a half liters of water is expelled from the human body through sweat, breathing, and urine every day.

Dehydration is a problem that we may not take very seriously, we do not realize every day how much moisture is in our body. Even when there is a lack of water in the body, we cannot fulfill it by drinking drinks containing water, such as juice, tea, coffee, as our brain recognizes this change and desire to drink water immediately.

When the body is dehydrated, the sensory receptors in the ‘hypo-thalamus’ part of the brain, called the center of thirst, send signals for antidiuretic hormone release. This hormone reaches the kidneys and activates the ‘aquaporins’ Aquaporins cells in the kidney. These special channels begin the process of conserving more water in the blood and leave less water for your body to prevent the body’s drainage. Dehydration actually causes the brain to shrink and it has to work

harder to maintain its functions, like a moist brain.

When we start to feel the effects of dehydration and what effects it will have, medical experts say that the symptoms that are initially experienced are frequent dryness of the throat, urine with a strong odor. Darker colors, etc. These are the signals that tell you that the body is trying to conserve water. Dehydration can affect many parts of the body. It can cause fatigue, mood problems, blood pressure reduction, and skin problems. Similarly, in the case of long-term adverse consequences, dehydration can lead to disorders like diabetes, skin problems, cholesterol, hypertension, digestive problems, fatigue, and constipation. And if you stop drinking water for a few days, it can have serious effects on your body and eventually death.

How much water we should drink every day depends on our gender, weight, and environment, but the video states that men should drink approximately 2.5 liters to 3.7 liters of water every day and 2 to 2.7 liters of water to women.
