Two more Coronavirus cases reported in Pakistan! Assistant Prime Minister’s Special Health Minister Dr. Zafar Mirza has confirmed two more Coronavirus cases have been reported in the country.
Addressing a press conference with Firdous Ashiq Awan, Assistant Special Information Officer in Islamabad, he said that a case was confirmed from Coronavirus in Karachi and Islamabad, followed by a total of 4 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the country.
Dr. Zafar Mirza said the condition of the two people who were first diagnosed with the virus was improving.
It has also been decided to allocate some hospitals especially for the coronavirus victims, he said. Additional admissions may also be made to hospitals when needed.
Already taken steps against Coronavirus
“The process of repatriation has begun and procedures have been finalized with Iran in this regard. We have already taken steps against Coronavirus,” he said.
Assistant Special Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan said Corona is not to be feared but to fight. He informed that there has been a talk on the National Action Plan on Coronavirus, an important meeting of all stakeholders was held today and details have been sought from the provinces through video link.

The third meeting of the Corona Virus Task Force, chaired by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, was held Saturday in which it was said that four of the family members of another victim in Karachi have been tested and placed in the isolation ward.
Rigorous screening of more people coming from Iran
The meeting was informed at the briefing that the resident of Kharadar, an infected patient, is 65 years old and arrived in Karachi from Iran on February 20. The Chief Minister also directed the Health Department to conduct rigorous screening of more people coming from Iran.
Chief Secretary, Health Minister, Mayor Karachi, Corps Commander, and other officials attended the meeting also.
It should be noted that one of the coronavirus cases confirmed in Pakistan on February 26 also came out in Karachi and the other in Islamabad.
