The Countess and Countess of Wessex wears a unique brooch during the Remembrance the Sunday service

 

Additionally, she wore a particular silver brooch during the ceremony, which reflected her position as The Royal Colonel for The 5th Battalion The Rifles.

A silver Bugle Horn is the badge for the cap for the Rifles and is worn by all Riflemen today. The bugle horn is thought to be the ideal replacement for the drum. It was used in the Light Infantry and later Rifle Regiments in the early 1800s to give orders throughout the battlefield.

The Earl of Wessex, wearing military attire, was joined by the Prince of Wales, the Royal Princess, and the Duke of Cambridge. Duke of Cambridge at the foot of the Cenotaph, where he laid an oath.
