According to Alexander McHale, director-general of Rosoborone Export, India had signed a contract with Russia to buy $ 5 billion worth of long-range 5 SY400 missile systems from the ground in 2018. The agreement was signed during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to New Delhi in October 2018. Work is underway to implement the agreement. The contract to supply this missile system to Russia will be completed in 2025.
