Carpet manufacturers and exporters are in dire straits so they should be called in to ask for suggestions. If the country is to be economically strong, export growth is inevitable and learning from past mistakes is all right for the future. Decisions must be made. He further said that the government should recognize the demand to ensure maximum participation in international exhibitions and raise the rate of financial support for this. Pakistan needs to develop effective strategies for Pak-China Free Trade Agreement. Its Space should be taken to display Pakistani products in departmental and superstores overseas. The government should provide exporters with facilities and concessions which will have far-reaching consequences while reducing production costs.
