Google is updating its search algorithm, which will make reporting more realistic. Richard Janjars, vice president of news at the company, said in a blog post that people will find it easier to find news story sources.
This move from Google will greatly benefit those who use their time and resources on local time news or stories.
In the past, major publishers used to pick up stories from local news outlets and get more traffic from original sources, appearing in search results instead of original sites.
But now the source of the original story will appear above and the search traffic will be higher.
