Lockdown in Karachi 411 people arrested! KARACHI: 411 people were arrested during a visit to the city for violating lockdown, while the court has expressed apathy for filing criminal cases against detained citizens.
According to the Karachi police spokesman, the Sindh government is proceeding with violation of Section 144 during lockdown announced to prevent Coronavirus and 135 cases have been registered in the last two days. On Tuesday, 13 more cases were registered and 39 people were arrested. During the visits, 411 people have been arrested.
The court’s expression of cases against the citizens was brutal
City Court: Judicial Magistrate Asif Ali Abbasi’s criminal case against
criminals has been heard in criminal cases. Judicial Magistrate Western Asif
Ali Abbasi expressed remorse at the police authorities for remodeling under
which law a civil case was registered against the citizens. Under Army
Regulation Schedule 2, Section 188 sanctions Pakistan cannot be arrested
without a warrant.
The court inquired how the FIR was lodged in such a crime without the permission of the relevant court. Schedule 2 clearly states that it is not a conceivable police offense under section 188 penalties. Under Section 155 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, a complaint can be made to the relevant court and only the court can issue a summons.
Police authorities failed to satisfy the court, the court ordered the release of eight accused on bail. The Judicial Magistrate instructed the citizens to obey the law, cooperate with institutions in the present situation and not leave homes unnecessarily.
