In India, Sikhs gave their land for the construction of a mosque.! In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, a 70-year-old Sikh provided his native 900 square feet of land for the construction of a mosque.

According to Indian news agency PTI, a Sikh citizen in the town of Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh, has given his land under the auspices of building a mosque in the area. Social activist Sukhpal Singh Bedi handed over land papers to Panchayat Chairman Zahir Farooqi.

On the occasion, social worker Sukhpal Singh Bedi said that peace and religious harmony are the teachings of Baba Groninak and, following these teachings, allocated the land for the construction of a mosque under the spirit of equal treatment and respect for Muslim brothers.

On the other hand, Dr. Sandeep Verma, a resident of the same town, praised the Sikh community’s move and said that I will donate for the construction of this land myself and other people should move forward so that religious tolerance can be promoted in the area.
