Ethiopian Prime Minister was awarded the Nobel Prize

Ethiopian Prime Minister was awarded the Nobel Prize |15 people, including the Ethiopian Prime Minister, who were awarded the Nobel Prize. The Swedish Academy of the Nobel Prize awarded the world’s most prestigious award, awarded the Nobel Prize winners for the year 2019.
In October this year, the Nobel Committee announced the awarding of Nobel Prizes in six categories. The committee awarded the Nobel Prize winners at 2 different events held on December 10. According to the Nobel Committee, two different distribution ceremonies were held in the European capital of Norway, Oslo, along with the Swedish capital Stockholm. The ceremony, held in the Norwegian capital Oslo, was just the first Nobel Peace Prize ever given to anyone in Ethiopia.

Nobel Peace Prize was given to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abi Ahmed, who played a key role in ending the civil war between his country and Eritrea. The border war between Ethiopia and Eritrea was fought between 1998 and 2000, and relations between the two countries were restored in July 2018 after several years of hostilities between the two countries, and credit was given to Prime Minister Abe Ahmed. Acknowledging Abi Ahmed’s peace efforts, the Swedish Nobel Committee awarded him the Nobel Peace Prize, the first person to win the award. Similarly, a grand event was held in Stockholm, Sweden’s capital, to distribute the Nobel Prizes for the other five categories, where ‘award-winning personalities in the fields of literature, economics, medicine, chemistry, and physics were honored. This year the Physics Award was given jointly to three scientists from Switzerland and the United States, the prizes being awarded to American-born Canadian scientists James Peebles and Switzerland scientists Michael Meyer and Deborah Quills. The Nobel Prize for Chemistry was also lavishly given to three scientists from the US, UK, and Japan at the same event, this time the American scientist, John Gudnaff, 97, Japanese scientist Accra Yoshino and British scientist M. Stanley Wittingham. This year’s Nobel Prize for Medicine was given by Sir Peter Ratcliffe of Oxford University, William Calvin of Harvard University, and Greg Smeenza of Johns Hopkins University. This year’s award ceremony included two years of Nobel Prize for Literature because the Academy was not awarded the Nobel Prize for sexual harassment allegations last year and last year’s award was also given this year.
The Nobel Prize for Literature of the Year 2018 was given to 57-year-old Olga Tokarzak, a Polish writer and novelist, and the 2019 Nobel Prize for Literature, to Austrian novelist Peter 76-year-old. The Nobel Prize for Economics was given to three American and French-American experts, including husband and wife 46-year-old Esther Duflo and 58-year-old Indian-born Abajit Banner, 54, all from the United States. The recipient of the award is husband and wife of Indian and French origin.
