Bollywood’s Oscar Awards Ceremony canceled: Fear of the Coronavirus! India dismissed announces the ceremony of the Pre-International Indian Film Academy Award (IIFA) for a growing number of cases of Coronavirus.
Indian cinema’s biggest award is called the Bollywood Oscar, the three-day event of the IIFA Awards 2020 was to be held in Madhya Pradesh at the end of this month. Which had to be canceled due to a growing health crisis.
A statement issued by the administration said that the new date of the event will be announced.

The Indian film industry is considered to be the largest industry in 2018 with around 1800 films being made.

After the awards ceremony in several countries and Indian cities, the IIFA of 2020 was to be held in the Indian capital of Mumbai, but due to the spread of the Karuna virus, the government has banned holding large gatherings.
