The delegation headed by Asian Development Bank DG Werner Lee Pash for Central and West Asia met with Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs and Assistant Special Minister for Petroleum Nadeem Babar, while Xiaohong Yang, Country Director, Asian Development Bank for Pakistan was also present.
The Asian Development Bank plans to invest $ 2 billion in Pakistan’s energy sector over the next three years, the Asian Development Bank said in a statement.
$ 300 million has been raised this week for circular loans and the energy sector. The meeting reviewed the Asian Development Bank-funded projects in the energy sector, and a detailed meeting was also agreed between ADB and the Ministry of Energy later this month to finalize the projects.
