After a thrilling contest, Islamabad United defeated Lahore Qalandars! Islamabad United defeated Lahore Qalandars after a thrilling match in the seventh match of PSL Five. In the seventh match of the Pakistan Super League played in Lahore, Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan won the toss and decided to field first. Chris Lane and Fkhurzman started the innings on behalf of the Lahore Qalandars. Chris Lane was out after scoring 11 and Fakhzman returned to Pavilion for 33.
Lahore Qalandars captain Sohail Akhtar proved to be the only guest of the match, and wicketkeeper-batsman Dan Vilas also scored just 3 runs, but Mohammad Hafeez scored half-century with the bat, while Smith Patel scored 51 runs.
